(E-Builder, Nov 2005) he Botetourt Resource Center in Buchanan was recently the recipient of a $1,500 gift from the Kiwanis Club of Botetourt County Resource Director, Robyn Dobyns, was the speaker at the Kiwanis Friday morning breakfast meeting at Hollins University cafeteria. The Kiwanis Club has found Robyn to be a helpful link to families and children with needs throughout Botetourt County. The Resource Center is a part of the Council of Community Services and works in cooperation with county Social Services. Botetourt Kiwanis focuses on the needs of children. All funds that are raised within the community are returned to the community through such gifts as the one to the Resource Center Moneys are raised through such projects as the club’s current Poinsettia Sales.
