E-Builder Oct 2005: The Charles County Club began the month by participating in the annual Charles County United Way Day of Caring Several members worked at Hard Bargain Farm in Accokeek, MD clearing bittersweet and other “alien invasive plants” from the pasture area and pathways. Surviving blisters and poison ivy, the group reports they now can identify these “aliens” and know the length that bittersweet will go to establish itself in the earth.
