(E-Builder, Nov 2005) he Clinch River Kiwanis Club of Richlands VA recently ended their six week summer "Food Drive Project” with the donation of 8000 cans of food, totaling approximately four tons, to The Good Samaritan Food Pantry in Richlands, Virginia. Present for the delivery of four full pallets of food to pantry Director and volunteers are five of the 18 member Clinch River Kiwanis Club “Without a doubt, your club has topped any single donation of canned food made to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry by a local civic organization” wrote Dick Lee, Assistant Director of the pantry, in a letter thanking the members of the Clinch River Kiwanis Club for their contribution to “help feed the hungry”.
