(From eBuilder Nov2003) On Sunday Oct 5, 2003, the Kiwanis Club of Great Neck conducted their 19th annual fishing trip for Special Olympics special kids. The club pairs with Lynnhaven Seafood Restaurant & Marina for the fishing trip and use boats docked there. Three head boats capable of holding over 50 passengers each, go out into the Chesapeake Bay to fish Key Club of First Colonial High School assist the kids in fishing. Each child received a commemorative T-shirt, snack and drinks.

(From E-Builder, July04) Hosted a charity golf tournament at the Aeropines Golf Course on Oceana Nava Air Station May 7 $4400 was raised for Kiwanis charities.
