E-Builder, Mar 2005: During February the Beach-Combers conducted a reading campaign for youngsters at the Jewish Christian Outreach Center (pre-school) and Seatack Elementary School on a daily basis. Each day several volunteers from our group read for about a half hour to one or more of the children. At the conclusion of the readings the books were presented to the children as gifts. Our volunteers had a great time and the children were inspired to read more on their own at home".
