(From E-Builder May 2005) Active with Sponsored Youth - U of D Circle K Induction Dinner, Sunday April 10th at the Italian Bistro A great time was had by all.

The 14th Annual Christina River Cleanup was held Saturday, the 23rd with Univ of Delaware Circle K and the Key Club of Newark High School. They were all there and did a great job of cleaning up the Christina River Marsh area. The weather cooperated and was not a washout as predicted We had over 600 volunteers and collected over 20 tons of trash. The students went out of their way to make sure they participated because they didn't want to let Kiwanis down. These students set an excellent example of young future Kiwanis members They sure make me proud!!
