Sent a boy for a week to VPI to study Soil Conservation Contributed
13 radios to the Huff Lane School; sponsored a sandlot football team,
furnished uniforms and equipment; played an active part in securing
a park area for the community; furnished and erected basketball backboards
at various places in the community for the use of underprivileged children
Held a children Halloween party. Furnished milk to a needy family. Sent 22 Christmas baskets to needy families Raised money for community work with a
square dance.
